Karde AS
Karde AS is an SME offering R&D-services within innovation and project management and as specialists on assistive technologies for persons with dementia or intellectual disability, usability and accessibility. User requirements analysis and user-centric design are also Karde’s areas of expertise. Karde’s personnel have contributed to the EU FP6 project DIADEM (Delivering Inclusive Access for Disabled or Elderly Members of the community, 2006-2009), as part of the Norwegian Computing Center’s research team. KARDE was the leader of UNIMOD, a national multi-client R&D-project addressing universally designed multimodal services in (2007-2009). Currently, KARDE leads the national multi-client project e-Me (Inclusive identity management in new social media, 2010-2013) and is the coordinator of the AAL Call 3 project Mylife (2011-2012; project no. AAL 2010-3-012). Two of Kardes employees are members of Norwegian standardization committee SN K/520 Universal Design of ICT and participate in the standardization committee JTC 1 SWG on Accessibility – JTC 1 SWG on Accessibility.
Role in the project: Karde AS contributes to requirement analysis and the design mobile solutions.
